Kakira Sugar is a brand of refined sugar made by Kakira Sugar Works Uganda as per the Madhivani Group Foods Sector in Jinja district. The Kiara brand of sugar is a premium grade product fit for use in making of sweet pastries such as cookies, muffins, flat bread , bread and hot beverages at tea time. The product here is fit for use in environments where people are not affected by diabetes. It is however mant to be used in moderation in the cooking and baking of meals.
